Cambridge Companies, a design/build construction firm based in Griffith, Indiana, is building the center for Republic Services.

This project is the latest in a long line of waste management developments Cambridge Companies has taken on over the last two decades.

“We’ve been dealing almost primarily with the waste industry for 20 years now,” says Jeff Eriks, Chief Business Development Officer at Cambridge Companies. “So when we are building new facilities, we pretty much know what we need to do and how to make them more durable and more efficient. According to Eriks, Republic Services engaged Cambridge in 2012 to develop a plan for the center.

With Cambridge’s level of expertise, and focus on client relationships, the SNRC project was awarded. “We pride ourselves on our level of communication during the construction and design processes,” Jeff Eriks, President of Cambridge says. “We are constantly in contact with the customer, keeping them up to date, and if problems arise, we always present them with a solution.”
