Project Overview
Design and construction of a large expansion to a fully operational existing waste management support facility in Southeastern San Antonio. Specifically, the addition included 100 commercial route-truck parking spaces, 6 additional bays in the maintenance shop, a new $200k lube oil storage and delivery system to the shop, 8-lane fuel island/station, all new site lighting, fire main extension with 3 additional hydrants, a 1,900 SF automated wash bay building, a new fire suppression system throughout the entire existing building and new 7,800 SF PEMB addition. The project also included the design-build of an expansion of an existing parts room and shop support offices, a new personnel parking area, storm drainage systems, electrical upgrades including an upgrade to LED fixtures throughout, polished concrete floors, and fire monitoring service.
