RIRRC Transfer Station & Addition, RI
This project is a Design-Bid-Build of a 20,050 SF transfer station with a break room and a 10,000 SF dry storage and maintenance area. The transfer station is a pre-engineered metal building with 12’ high concrete push walls, a 16,400 SF tipping floor, and a 1,150 SF loading pit positioned 8’ below the tipping floor. The facility has seven tipping bays with large overhead doors. The recovery building has an 8’ high concrete wall with a clear span heavy duty fabric structure roof supported by metal arched trusses.
