WPWMA Material Recovery and C&D Facility (PHASES 1-3)

Cambridge provided construction services for a multi-phase C&D and material recovery facility project in California. The first phases included a new 64,500 SF C&D processing canopy, a 2,000 SF compressor and support building, equipment foundations, and associated site improvements. The final phase transformed the existing 160,000 SF MRF into a high-diversion facility designed to comply with California SB 1383 requirements. The retrofit included removal of existing processing equipment, extensive concrete modifications, new processing infrastructure, and an additional compressor building. The upgraded MRF has an annual processing capacity of 450,000 tons of municipal solid waste.
